Sample 5 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive At Providence Lodge
Champagne welcome before dinner. Your group has exclusive use of the Lodge facilities including lounge, games room and sauna. We are situated on the shores of Lake Eucumbene in the middle of the Kosciuszko National Park. Watch out for kangaroos and wombats.
Day 2: Gold Seeker
Explore historic Kiandra, site of the 1859 gold rush. 10,000 people once lived here. Travel underground into Tumut 2 Power Station for an audio visual presentation. Have lunch at Cabramurra, Australia's highest town. Drive down to Tumut Pond into a spectacular gorge before returning to the Lodge for afternoon tea.
Day 3: Mountain Legends
Depart for Tumbarumba. Morning Tea is Tumut. Continue on to Boggy Creek Farm for the highlight of the trip. We will be entertained by sheep, dogs, horses, cattle and a few surprises. Have lunch and real billy-tea. Explore Tumbarumba before heading back home through brumby country.
Day 4: Chair To The Top
Drive via Berridale and Jindabyne to the Thredbo where we will board the chairlift and travel to the top of the world for spectacular views of Thredbo and the valley. Lunch at Jindabyne and then Charlotte Pass. View 5 of Australia's highest peaks including Mt. Kosciuszko. Tour of Adaminaby and see the buildings moved from Old Adaminaby.
Day 5: Depart for Home
