What the Press says about Mt Selwyn
Source: The Age NewspaperSelwyn is an unassuming family, beginner and snow-player destination tucked away in the north of the Kosiuszko National Park that doesn't try and paint itself any other way. It matches Buffalo in Victoria for the introduction it offers to the sport and, like Buffalo, can satisfy people with no ambition to ride the steeps for their entire snow career.
Selwyn matches friendly terrain with friendly prices and unpretentious service, bringing together a selection of appealing packages.
What's new: Improvements to ski-hire facility and added snowmaking capacity. Selwyn has 80 per cent of its slopes covered by snowmaking.
Lift tickets: One-day $61 adults, $30.50 children (6-14 yrs); five-days $241/$121.
Resort entry: National Park Fee, $15 per day; annual pass $80 (covers all NSW National Parks).
Cross country: Interesting network of marked and groomed trails near Selwyn, Dry Dam and Cabramurra. Good launching point for overnight treks. Trail fees: No.

We say: Excellent facilities for families, developing skiers and boarders and people who just want a good time in the snow. Limited scope for advanced skiers and boarders.
